List your car

Own a quarter. Drive it like it's yours.

Mile Club matches people who want to buy a share in a classic car with the owners and dealers selling them. Then it gives the group a calendar that keeps the arrangement fair.

01

Find a car

Every listing shows the share price, the monthly running costs and how many booking points a share carries. Browsing is free and you don't need an account.

02

Contact the seller

Getting a seller's phone number and email is free during our launch. We tell them you're interested so they expect your call.

03

See it, sign it, pay for it

Meet the seller and the other co-owners and see the car. Sign the co-ownership agreement, then pay the seller directly. We never hold the money for a share.

04

Book your days

Join the car's shared calendar. Each share gets points every year, each day costs points, and the calendar applies the rules so nobody has to argue about who gets the bank holiday.

01

List your car

Add photos, the share price and how many shares you're selling. Keep a share yourself or sell them all. Private owners list 2 cars free.

02

We check it

We read every listing before it goes live. Anything that sells a share as an investment, or promises returns, is sent back.

03

Buyers get in touch

You get an email each time someone asks for your details, with their name and number. Choose who you're happy to share with.

04

Run the calendar

Set up the shared calendar for €15 a month per car. Invite your co-owners, block service dates, and let the rules do the rest.

List your car

Points, not arguments.

Each car has 120 points a year, split by share. A winter weekday costs half a point. A bank holiday Saturday costs two.

Bookings run for at least 3 days. Nobody can hold more than 2 peak bookings far in advance, so the good weekends go round. The lead owner blocks dates for servicing, and everyone logs mileage and fuel at each handover.

Read the full rules, including who pays for fuel, repairs and damage.

The short answers.

The long ones are in our guides.

Is a share an investment?

No. You own part of a real car and you get to drive it. Classic values go up and down, and sellers on Mile Club can't advertise shares on the basis of returns. Buy a share because you want to use the car.

Who holds the money when I buy a share?

Nobody in the middle. You pay the seller directly once you've seen the car and signed the co-ownership agreement. Mile Club only charges for introductions and the calendar.

Who is the registered owner?

One co-owner, the lead owner, is the registered owner and the policyholder. The co-ownership agreement records what everyone owns and pays.

What if I want out?

Give 30 days' notice. The other co-owners get first refusal at the agreed price. If none of them want your share, you can list it on Mile Club.

Do I need to live near the car?

It helps. You collect and return the car at its home base, so most people buy into a car within an hour of home.
