Terms of use

The short version first.

Mile Club introduces people who want to share classic cars and gives them a calendar. The deal itself is between you and the other co-owners.

1. Who we are

Mile Club is operated by Paul Cassidy, a sole trader based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. Contact: hello@mileclub.ie.

2. What we do, and what we don't

3. Fees

During our launch some or all of these may be free. We'll give at least 14 days' notice before charging. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account, and it runs to the end of the period you've paid for. Because the seller's details are shown straight away, you agree that the contact service starts immediately and the 14-day cooling-off period ends once it has been provided, apart from the refund promise above.

4. Listing a car

5. Buying a share

See the car, meet the other co-owners, check the paperwork and get independent advice before paying anyone. Never pay for a share before you've seen the car and signed a written agreement. Report anything suspicious to us at hello@mileclub.ie.

6. The calendar

The calendar applies the rules your group chooses. It is a record of bookings, not a guarantee the car will be available or roadworthy on the day. The lead owner is responsible for keeping members, rules and maintenance blocks up to date.

7. Liability

We're responsible for providing the service with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for the condition of any car, what other users do or say, or any agreement between users. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

8. Sample listings

Cars marked "sample listing" show how the site works. They are not for sale and there is no seller to contact.

9. The law

These terms are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
